Service Overview

Slide AI Translator provides AI-assisted translation and document processing services for files including documents and PDFs. The service may offer limited functionality for unregistered users and expanded features for verified account holders.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address and verify it before uploading documents.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • Usernames are optional. Authentication is tied to your email address.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload unlawful content, malware, or content you do not have the legal right to process or translate.
  • Attempt to bypass usage limits, credit systems, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Use the service for fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, or unauthorized system access.

AI Use and User Responsibility

Slide AI Translator uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate translations, responses, and document outputs.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or formatting issues.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving all translated content before any intended use, including legal, regulatory, medical, financial, commercial, or official purposes.
  • The service is an assistive tool and does not replace professional review or expert judgment.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slide AI Translator disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that translations, formatting, document structure, or file integrity will meet your requirements or expectations.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable US law:

Slide AI Translator, its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Incorrect, misleading, or incomplete translations
  • Errors or hallucinations produced by AI systems
  • Malformed, broken, corrupted, or unusable documents
  • Loss of data, revenue, business opportunities, or profits

If liability cannot be excluded, Slide AI Translator's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Slide AI Translator in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Credits and Payments

Slide AI Translator operates on a credit-based usage model.

Monthly Included Credits

  • Each paid subscription tier includes a defined monthly credit allocation.
  • At the beginning of each billing month, your monthly credit balance is topped off to the amount allocated for your subscription tier.
  • Monthly credits do not accumulate beyond the tier allocation.
  • Unused monthly credits do not roll over to subsequent months.

Purchased Credits

  • Purchased credits are tracked separately from monthly included credits.
  • Purchased credits do not expire while your account remains active.
  • Purchased credits are consumed only after monthly included credits have been used, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

General Credit Terms

  • Credit usage is quoted before each translation job.
  • Credits have no cash value, are not legal tender, and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or converted into money.
  • Credits are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or explicitly stated in our refund policy.

File Handling, Retention, and Support

  • Free tier files may be used to improve the service.
  • Paid tiers opt out of training on uploaded files.
  • Pro tier translation requests follow a strict no-retention policy, subject to limited operational exceptions.

Support Submissions

  • If you submit documents through the support feature, you acknowledge that documents may be accessed and reviewed by Slide AI Translator personnel solely for the purpose of providing support.
  • Submitted documents will not be shared outside the company.
  • We commit to deleting support-submitted documents once the support ticket is closed, unless retention is required by law or for dispute resolution.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that any documents submitted for support do not contain sensitive, confidential, regulated, or third-party information you are not authorized to share.

Service Reliability and Failures

While we strive to provide reliable service, uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed.

If a translation job fails due to a verified platform error, support may issue a credit return at its discretion. See the refund policy for details.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, abuse of the service, excessive chargebacks, or unlawful activity.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
